The spooky season is coming to an end and we're moving on into the Holiday season. We know that this year looks different than the ones that have come before it and that that might be a challenge. We hope to relieve some of the stress by providing you with some fun activities to help with the at-home celebrations. In this experiment, you can put your past-their-prime, already-carved, Jack-O'-Lanterns to good use. If you don't have any on hand and still want to get in on the fun, other similarly-shaped fruit and vegetable substitutes work as well.
A little baking soda and vinegar go a long way to impress with this simple science experiment. Check out our Home Lab video and watch our Mad Scientists show you what to do!
If you'd like more hands-on STEM content like this and the printable experiment instructions to go along with it, check out our Kids Club . You can try your first month for only $0.99USD with code FIRSTMONTHCLUB. If you'd like a science kit where all the supplies and instruction booklets are delivered to your door, you can check out our Loop Lab subscription boxes. For virtual or in-person classes (availability depends on your location) you can check out our holiday and summer camps, birthday parties, after-school programs, workshops, and events at MadScience.org.
